Chris and Marianne Cooper step out for a good cause

Chris Cooper took a break from his busy schedule this weekend to attend AccesSportAmerica's annual fundraiser at the Boston Harbor Hotel. Cooper, who wrapped work on Ben Affleck's "The Town" last fall and currently costars with Robert Pattinson in the new movie "Remember Me," is just back from a shoot in the Philippines with director John Sayles. Asked about the hype surrounding Pattinson, Cooper looked humored. "It's like Beatlemania," he told us. The actor and his wife, writer Marianne Leone Cooper, proved popular during the AccesSportAmerica auction. Dinner with the couple at Patrizia's in Plymouth and the opportunity to walk the red carpet with them at the premiere of "The Town" fetched $5,400.
