AccesSportAmerica High-Challenge Sports Camp: Florida
AccesSportAmerica annual High-Challenge Sports Camp is held at Jensen Beach, Florida in March. The camp annually brings together our Athletes and our Instructors from our Florida and Massachusetts programs. Annually, thirty campers actively participated in the weeklong overnight camp for youth and adults with disabilities. The daily intensive sports and training more fully engages our athletes while providing each with the opportunity to share their love of the sports and help one another to gain new abilities and reach new heights. The days are long, exciting, exhausting and fun.
Daily schedule was as follows:
8 - 8:30 am | Yoga |
9 - 9:30 am | Breakfast |
9:30 am - 12 pm | Adaptive WaterSports: Windsurfing and Hawaiian Outrigger Canoeing |
12 - 12:30 pm | Lunch |
2 - 4:30 pm | Work Outs: Gym and Tennis |
5 - 6 pm | Dinner |
6 - 9 pm | Evening Activities: Martin County Fair, Karaoke, Movie, Bowling and Dancing |
On the final day, our campers compete in a Hawaiian Outrigger Canoe Regatta, Tennis Competition and Road Race.
We are always amazed at how much we all accomplish in just one week. Our camp program includes some of our most favorite and accomplished days of the year.
