Peter Halby

Peter Halby Peter Halby has been volunteering with AccesSportAmerica since 1996 working in programs at Camp Jabberwocky and Boston. He has been working full-time since April of 2003. Peter brings an incredible background of work with people with disabilities for over 15 years.

A graduate of the University of Vermont with a degree in sociology, Peter's life work has been the integration of people with disabilities into mainstream activities. He has been a lead counselor at Camp Jabberwocky, a camp for children and adults with disabilities, since 1992. He has also been a part in helping establish camps for people with disabilities in Los Angeles, Mexico, Nantucket, and Guatemala.

Before AccesSportAmerica, Peter was a teacher at the Penikese Island School for troubled boys—an outward bound inspired school and living program. AccesSportAmerica is greatly enhanced by his vitality and inexhaustible energy given to our athletes.

Peter lives in Brookline Massachusetts.
